Creating a Profile:

To register on the ProStart website, go to http://www.nraef.org/prostart. Click the link at the top of the page that says “Register." It can take up 72 hours to become active.

If you are checking your score for an exam, include the exam session number at the bottom of the page, which your instructor can provide you. Click “Save” to create the profile.

Taking an Online Exam:

Go to http://www.nraef.org/prostart and log in by clicking the “Login” button at the top of the page. Enter your userID and password on the following page.

Hover your cursor over the “Students” section and choose the option that says “Exams”.

On the following page, choose the option that says “Take Exam”. The next page will ask which exam you are taking. Choose this exam from the dropdown menu.

At the bottom of the following page, accept the Examinee Test Use Agreement. You will then be given a window where you can enter your exam access code. After your proctor enters the proctor access code, you can begin the exam.

Checking your Exam Score/Printing your Certificate

Go to http://www.nraef.org/prostart and log in by clicking the “Login” button at the top of the page. Enter your userID and password on the following page.

Hover your cursor over the “Students” section and choose the option that says “Exams”.

To check your score, click the “Check Scores” option on the following page. The next page may ask you to provide your exam session number. Your instructor can provide this information. Once your exam session is linked, you will be able to see your score. You will also see an option to print your Level One or Level Two Exam Certificate(s).
