Tomorrow's Foodservice Leaders
The Ohio ProStart® Program has approximately 2300 students enrolled in the ProStart program in various high schools throughout Ohio. This program is an industry-driven program that trains and prepares high school students to enter the restaurant and foodservice industry or continue their education at a post-secondary institution.
In the classroom or on the job, ProStart graduates have met every challenge. The ProStart National Certificate of Achievement is proof that these graduates are ready to take the next step in their careers in one of America's largest industries. In order to earn this nationally-recognized certificate, students must pass two National exams and complete 400 hours of mentored work experience.
